There we were staring at this sign trying to figure out what we wanted and we asked this cute boy what his favorite was and while he was pointing them out this man, from mainland China who works in Canada, interrupted and I'm sure he was just trying to be helpful, but he came across as really rude. He basically told us that in the month we've been here we should at least have a vocab of 100 plus words and they should include foods. lol! We just carry our paper around with everything written in Chinese and honestly its the best way to meet other English speakers. We've made all sorts of friends because we can't order something ourselves : ) I can laugh about it now but this guy really got on my nerves.
Anyways we took his suggestion of meat crepe and were not impressed - next time we take the boys advice and get a dessert crepe : )
